selling my 97 rs tomorrow !!

Hi Im going to sell my 97 rs tomorrow, this is the first time Im selling a car. What should I do, Im bought my 97 rs with 103k mike for 3k, now I want to sell it for 3k,
new timming belt ( 10k mile on it )
water pump( 10k same time as timming belt
tensional ( 10k same time as timming belt )
Drum brake to disk brake ( better stop, easy maintaint, look better )
Remote starter ( warm up car every morning set at 4 min )
new gas filter
oil change every 3 month ( I barely run 3k in 3 month ) with 10w30 mobile 1 ( that y I got oil leak from )
15% tint window, 35% on sticker :evillol: .
new power steeling belt ( 10k mile )
new AC belt ( 10k mile )
water pump ( 10k same time as timming belt )

now the car have 124k mile on it, how much you think I can get for this car ( I will use my 94 eclipse for daily drive, and looking for a 97-99 gst-gsx.

I think you could probably get 3k for it. I don't see why not.

Yeah 3k is about what you should get, list it for 5k and see if you can that.

LOL i forget I already list that :wink:, Im cleaning out my car now, vacum, wipe my interior, change back to factory wheel and tire. change oil, and put a everstart battery ( from my 94 eclipse 2 week old ) in and swap out red top optima :grinyes:.

Don't forget a bill of sale otherwise you could get into some trouble. Make two one for you one for the buyer that way if they don't register the car and the crash the car and kil 50 people and leave you have proof that you sold the car.

yea i was plan to sell my car on spring break, i dont really need car to go beauty sku any way, i work full time at my dad shop 9:30am to 7:30 pm, so i just ride with him. any way time to get back swap out tires.

I drop out college last semester, I'm in nail school now, I really need money for my kid ( she not live with me, she live with her mom ). it suck to be 20 and worried about kid ( but I love my kid ).

My car might be gone by tomorrow, I saw a guy rode a 99 gs ( with turbo spoiler ), I thought it a turbo car, so I stop by the talk to him, find out it not turbo. Any way I told him, that im selling my 97 rs for 3,600, he was calling his brother right away, and after 2 min, he say" if I have 3k now, can u take it " well I really want to sell for 3k, but I hold back, and told him I really dont know, he ask for my phone #, and I walk away, after he gone, he turn around and take a look at my car, i just ignore him, after 20min, he call me and say his brother want to see it, i say ok, later he come with his brother, man his brother was crazy about my car, I start up the car using remote starter, he was really happy, pop the hood, and take him out for a ride, after get back , he love it and say that he will call me tonight, or definally tomorrow for the car " he told me he bring 3k cash, can I take it" I say to him I dont know, but if u bring it fast I take it. Well I hope he bought it so I can move on turbo :evillol: .

You and about 406,821 other people. I haven't seen a worthy 2g turbo eclipse/talon within 100 miles of my area in months, and the few I do see they people want $10k+.

true...you might be better off getting a 95-96 and do a conversion. Even if it's done at a shop it will be cheaper than a 97-99

a friend of mind own a 95 gst, with 6 bolt swap ( can you tell if it has 6 bolt swap ? ). He asking 3800 for it, and he was using castrol gtx oil, so i back off buying it .

What's wrong with that oil? I'm sure it did the job, no reason not to buy the car because of that.

that is true, 10k is what i had to pay to get mine...but mine is in EXCELLENT condition, so i got a good deal(in my mind)

i think so, that eclipse is low mile, and very good looking condition to me.
