hey guys, sorry if this has been asked a thousand time before. i just bought an 05 TB 4x4 with the L6. i am just wondering, if i now have p235/75/r16's, can i use 245's on the same wheel? also what affect would i get if i moved from 75 to 70? Thanks for the help.

I've heard of up to 265/70R17 fitting, but you *might* need wheel spacers to prevent rubbing on tight turns. Kinda depends on the specific brand, trial and error.

Moving from a P235-75/R16 (weird size, did you buy it from someone who replaced the tires with a different size because no TB came from the factory with P235 tires, only P245-70/R16 and then some P245-65/R17 tires) to a P245-70/R16 will fit, as I have this size on my 02 TB and replaced the tires with Toyo Open Country A/Ts 7K ago at 53K. No rubbing, but talk to the dealer about if your speedo will change.

Thanks guys,
the 235's are the ones on it from the dealer and the door panel says they are the stock size. i decided to go with some 235/75R15 firestone destination a/t's. i was going to go with the deuler a/t revo's but i can't afford them. Thanks for the input

This is a good comparison tool to change the size of the tires, and see if the speedo will change, etc..
go take a look.
