Squealing Seatbelt

Hey everyone...
I have a 91 civic and the seatbelts are squealing something fierce. The problem is when the seatbelt is pulled on an angle (as in when you're putting them on) it rubs on the plastic hangar that anchors it to the B piller and makes a god awful high pitched squealing noise. I had my 89 for 5 years and never had this problem, but it's on both sides of my 91. It won't do it if you pull it straight up and down so I figure some sort of lubrication or roughing up the plastic.
I just don't want to use something that gets into the belt and all over my clothes. I looked into changing the anchors but they're one piece of hard plastic and obviously they are what keeps the seatbelt over your shoulder in an accident so I don't wanna mess with them too much.
If anyone had this problem and found a fix I'd really appreciate it, I've got some hearing problems already and this sure ain't helping. Not to mention how the ladies cringe when they buckle up and hear that...
