Ok, first of all you need to do a search. This topic has been covered so much it isn't even funny. Second of all, you only have 3 options for motors. Eclipses come with an available 420A, 4g64, and 4g63t. The 4g64 is what is in your GS and it can be swapped with any motor you feel like. the 4g63t is the only turbocharged model. Don't even consider twin turbocharging these motors as the only twin turbo setup you can do is a sequential turbo setup and there isn't much gain with that unless your gonna build a full blown racecar. I will straight up tell you now that your gonna have thousands of dollars into a swap and it would be easier to just sell it and buy a gst or gsx that already has the 4g63t in it...
Oh, and please remember... Search!

Most people here will tell you to just sell the car and get a turbo Eclipse. All of your request sounds like a whole load of custom work to me. You could turbo your current engine(420a), but it won't have as much potential as a turbo'd Eclipse engine (4G63).
As for the twin turbo thing.. I have never seen or heard of a twin turbo 4-cylinder vehicle. I don't even think it's possible, but with enough money..

No, actually the 420a is in his car, not the 4g64. The 4g64 only came in rag tops.

I coulda swore the 4g64's came in GS's as they were the upper model before the GSX's? So the 420A comes in all RS's and GS's?

yeah i have a 420a i know that much lol, what about a v6 could i get a v6 in the eclipse you think? this is my affordable dream car so i want to go all out custom work etc, i dont like the look of the newer cars that are comming out there fast but not my style, i would be doing all the work my self shit if i pay someone to do it that would cost as much as the actual parts it self lol, plus when i do things to my car its like, yeah i did that, ya know, someone was telling me some where in daly city i could get a engine swap with a 3.0 turbo engine but i dont know if that would fit, otherwise i should get the 4g63t right? thanks again for the help, and sorry for not searching

If you really want to go through all the trouble of swapping the motor......then go with the 4g63t. The 4g63t out of the 90-94 models (6 bolt motor) is the more desirable engine then the 95-99 ones (7 bolt) as it is stronger and less subject to crank walk.

Wow... You really need to read up on this first before touching your motor. All the available motors for these cars are 4 cylinders.

Like BlackCrow said, all three available engines for the eclipses (420a, 4g63t, 4g64) are 4 cylinder. The 2.4 is the 4g64 like in my car. I wouldnt recommend going with the 4g64 unless you can do a whole lot of work to it because it isnt very fast stock, but it is a good starting block for a monster motor. lol

lol, so the 2.4 doesnt come turbo? could i twin it or no? porbbaly not, what all do you think i would need to do to it or could i do to it? im trying to find an engine for cheap and just work on it and rebuild it i was looking on ebay and craigslist but really having any luck, they all want like 2gs if i spend that kind of money i would rather get one cheap and rebuild it and put money into it you know

Ok, drop this twin turbo idea. Its not gonna happen in a 4 cylinder unless your some pro racer that needs ridiculous power. They come with a single turbo and with all the supporting mods it will give you more power than you will ever need on the street.

if i were you i would not swap in motor in because you will have alot of trouble with it.You can buy a gs-t or a gs-x because its already turbocharged.
And that thing about the twin turbo,i never seen or heard that made an eclipse a twin turbo.

Yeah, just go with the gsx/gst. The turboed model engines can put out about 400 on the stock internals. With a possibility of 400hp on stock internals...Who needs 6 cylinders!?

Who needs 6 cylinders!? No DSMer thats for sure.
I'm with them, number of cylinders and turbos means jack shit. If you want a turbo'd car, sell yours and buy a GST, GSX, TSi, or TSi AWD.
Also for the record, 6 bolts only came in 90's, 91's, and most 92's. ;)

I think someone should make a quad turbo eclipse with four tiny turbos (t25's), one for each runner.
If you understood how turbos work, it would be obvious that on an engine with such small dispacement more small trubos becomes very inefficient (even a restriction) above a certain threshold.
