CV joint problems

I have had my 91 3000gt for about 6 months, and I love mi car, but just recently I started hearing a weird sound took it to the mechanic and he said that the cv joint needed to be changed, but I cant find the damn thing, and I havent been able to use mi car in like two weeks, and really desperate, I hope somebody can help me find the part, and were they sell them, thanks a lot.

The CV joint is in the axle shaft. If its clicking you are better off just getting a new axle. They usually run $50 at any auto parts stores. You need to find out which one is bad.
