Dear All,
Is there an alternative to tire bleaching solution to clean resin parts from mold release agents?
Thanks in advance

I have found that one of two things work for me. First is plain dish soap and a toothbrush. If you want to be sure all is mold release agent is gone take a Q-tip and dip it in laquer thinner then swab the resin with it. Now your ready for prep & primer.

Thinner on the surface!!! :22yikes::eek2:
Do not you think it is a bit risky to do that?
I tried alcohol, a plenty of it, but scotch tapes do not stick yet to the surface properly.
Thanks

As long as its resin were talking about laquer thinner has no melting effects. I have even stripped bad paint jobs from a resin body by submerging the whole thing in laquer thinner. There is no faster way to strip a paint job!
