98 Jimmy won't start

Hope someone can help ..I have a 98 jimmy 176000 km
it has a mind of it own.. it has days it will startup fine and other days that won't start at all .. when it doesn't start the security light is blimnking and you have to wait 10 min before the anti theft system disables itself and then it will startup if you lucky...
Please help !!

you got some messed up wiring problems with the alarm system. my best advice is to take it and get the wiring fixed, or do away with the system altogether, either that or get you a wiring diagram and see if you can take the alarm system off yourself, or at least make it so that it doesnt wire into your ignition system.

I have disconnected the harness from the remote starter\alarm.
Should I pull all the wires from the Truck.???
I thought just by diconnecting the harness everything would be good.

No, it probably isn't due to the remote starter either. GM has serious problems with the PassKey2 system. Sometimes it is the decoder in the ignition and sometimes it's the BCM. What you could do is put the PK2 wires back to the way they were before the remote starter install and see if it'll work. This is usually just a dealer serviced item too.

Yeah too bad they just won't go ahead and do a recall since EVERY Gm vehicle will eventually have this problem.
