I have a 1997 Z3 with the 1.9 four. I accidently broke the A/C belt tensioner off of the A/C Compressor bracket. The threaded boss snapped off.
Any tips on removing the compressor bracket ? I can only see three of the five bolts.....If I remove the compressor itself first, will that make it easier ?
I'm probably going to have to disconnect the refrigerant line too ??
Any advice is appreciated.....thanks

Any advice is appreciated.....thanksLeave the lines alone and just remove the four compressor bolts, and move it out of the way

Thanks for the quick reply Bavarianm.....
There's not a lot of room below the strut tower to get my hands or socket/wrench, but if you say it's doable I'll give it a try.
