88 Astro V6 ingesting antifreeze

I would think I gave a blown head gasket, as there are no leaks. Is there a water heater valve that may have gone bad and allowing water in to the intake? Otherwise I think this the end of the line for the ol' Astro, my workhorse. :shakehead

With the age of the machine, I'd think a dose of the GM magic sawdust is in order. This is a package of "cooling system sealer tabs" you can get at any GM dealer. Made of ground up nut shells and spices, they really do the job in a case like this. Cost about 5 bucks, just put them in the radiator (not the overflow tank) and drive it for a half hour. This stuff is a factory additive on many models and dealers use it in all models, in place of warranty repairs they don't want to do, but it does perform miracles sometimes. Worth a shot, and that coolant going inside the engine will ruin it pretty quick.

Thanks I know of the stuff and I am heading to a dealer today to get some, forgot about that!!:banghead:
