coilover question!! please help!!!!

ok , i dont own a honda civic, but my friend does and he installed my drift kit on my cavalier so i told him i would buy him some coilovers cuz that what he wants but i dont know what kind to get. what coilovers are the best in quality? and does anyone know a good place to get them? thanks for all your help?

What model and year car does he have?
And what is the price range?

Does he race at the track?
What kind of driving and road conditions does he encounter on the street?

i believe a 98 ex and the price range i really dont know

the road conditions are pretty much ok except for a few minor bumps,
and he doesn't really go to the track but he drives like he does.

If you are talking about coil sleeves, I dont recommend them.
But if you must have them the Ground controls/KYB AGX combo is good.

The best setup would be ground control or Skunks on Koni Yellows, since they are the type of shock to handle that excessive lowering and namely the Skunk2 spring rates.

But at the price of the Koni Yellows and Sleeves you can get one of the above kits for similar prices.

If you are going to go to the ground control setup.. your friend is going to need some performance shocks real quick because the high pressure that ground control has will blow stock shocks in about a month and give a real annoying sound and hell bottom out all the time too... i learned it the hard way but after my performance shocks NO problems..
