Just wondering if anyone else has bought goods from "Toy In" on Ebay and been burnt.
He has a lot of Crazy Modellers stuff on there. I purchased the 2 Ducati Photoetch sets over 3 weeks ago and used Paypal to pay for the goods and Airmail to Australia.
I have still not recieved the goods and after 3 attempts to contact them through Ebay and 4 attempts by direct Email have given up as they dont reply.
They have recieved 5 other negative comments since I purchased so I have to chalk it up to another bad seller from Hong Kong compared to the many good ones I have dealt with and will continue to deal with.
I have purchased other items from other sellers in Hong Kong since this transaction and have recieved them all in 3 to 4 days by Airmail with no problems.
Cheers
Tony

For those searching, its Toy_In.

File for a PayPal refund immediately.

Nothing takes 30 days to get from Asia to Aust by airmail once its posted. He's simply buying time with YOUR money.

I just went through the same thing with seller coleslie.

Tony, for your information

I bought some CrazyModeller metalized decals from toy_in via Ebay at the beginning of February. The decals took about two weeks to get to Europe by airmail.

Best of luck trying to sort it out!

I have used Toy_in twice and waited 2-3 weeks for delivery. If you're not getting results with email I would file with Paypal and see if that shakes them up. Don't even bother with Coleslie!!!

OK. Got to the bottom of it eventually thanks to finally getting a reply from Toy_In with a postal reference number. They sent the goods after 5 days so no real problem there BUT Australian Customs have decided that I am getting a lot of stuff from Hong Kong in little packages lately so they decided they would take a closer look. They have now decided to release it after some phone calls and some faxes sent showing exactly what it was and what it is used for. I even had to find a description on the Net of how Photo Etching is done so I could tell them what chemicals are used because they were concerned about the white layer on one side of some of the photo etched parts. I have now recieved the package - opened with one of the packs opened and a piece of the etch surround cut away. They must of wanted a sample!
SO A BIG APOLOGY TO TOY_IN for jumping tp the wrong conclusion - I WAS WRONG and AM VERY SORRY.

I will have this thread deleted after about a week as I wish do the right thing by Toy_In and let people know that it was my Error in judgement and that Toy_In is a respectable Ebay Trader.
Cheers

If he'd just replied to one of your seven emails instead of deleting them you wouldn't have had any conclusions to make. You have nothing to apologize for. :grinno:
