Civic 6 Speed?

hey, what kind of modification would it require to but the 6 speed out of a 4drwagon? or how about going a step up and adding the awd?

I have no idea but I am sure it is pretty difficult. There was a guy in the hybrid section a while ago with a '90 4wd wagon who wanted to do an engine swap and apparently it wouldnt work because the tranny would not mount.

why would anyone want to do an engine swap in a 4 dr?????? there like the ugliest honas ever made!

I would say the Wagon is kinda weird looking. I also wouldnt recomend the tranny swap cause all the 6 speed tranny is , is a 5 speed tranny with a extra low granny first gear... kinda like Semi trucks have. It would be the same as having you 5 speed.

i met a guy last summer that had a b16 in an awd but he had modified a 5 spd si tranny for the awd to work he said it was nt cost efficient but fun to play with and money didnt matter to this guy he had lots of it he did a phat awd burn out fer me tho, i have herd of ppl putting the 4wd cr-v underbody on civics for awd and it werking but i have never seen one only herd of it, me and a friend r trying to find an awd wagon to turn into a mudding machine put a lift on it and gut for fun like a big go kart on steroids haha:bandit:

i saw on ESPN the other night a crx with the CR-V AWD system, and it was pretty cool to see drag slicks all the way around.
