Me again

once again another problem. since i replaced my heater motor ive been having some hesitation problems at around 55-60 km/h and when turning a corner. could this be something with my carburator? i had to remove the top part to remove the heater motor. also a smell of gas now when car is idle... believe its from the exhaust but still pretty strong smell inside the truck when starting it and in idle. thanks

With the engine cold lift the hood and start the car. Look at all fuel connections for a leak. If you smell gas inside the car then there is free gas inside the engine compartment which could cause a fire. If you find a leak then get it fixed ASAP!

ok well no smell under the hood. i think i may have backed into my exhaust which would have let it into the truck itself to smell that strong. took a look and everything seems to be in working order under the hood without a smell.
