97-99 Eclipse Conversion

Hey all... I've decided that I'm never going to be able to sell my Talon so I guess I'm going to keep it. With that in mind I've also decided I want to do the 97-99 Eclipse conversion. I've done a bit of research but I was hoping that some of you guys would know the best/cheapest places to get the parts for this. Any help would be appreciated.

Ebay... You can pick up a 97-99 front bumper for about 120 shipped. You can get a nice pair of aftermarket projector headlights on there for about 100-150 shipped. And, you can pick up some aftermarket taillights for 75-100 bucks shipped. The average for a rear bumper is 150-250 with shipping. Annnnd the sideskirts will vary between 150-250 bucks shipped.

I think thats all you need to do the conversion. I have heard that there have been fitamit(sp?) issues with Eclipse parts on the Talons, but I see no reason why there should be. The only difference I could see would be the taillights and rear bumper since they mount about an inch or two higher than the Talon parts.

When I check out ebay, everything seemed a little more steep than that, I'll just have to keep an eye out on ebay and watch for some better deals, thanks for the heads up.

Check local junkyards and local DSMers. There was a guy I almost bought a 95 GSX off of that had a 97-99 conversion for sale, $400 for bumpers, headlights, turbo spoiler, and sideskirts. Just keep an eye and an ear out for a good deal and swoop that shit when it comes up.
