Its like 100 miles away, and I want a turbo project car...but I think that $2000 is wayy too steep.
THANKS!

hmmm... kind of steep. I paid 2k for my gsx and it has a lot more done to it, and had less wrong with it.

True but you were one lucky mofo.
How many miles was on your GSX when you bought it?

It would have been ours if my friend and I would have made it there before you, EZ. lol
Yeah, 2k for that car seems really steep... The mileage is high too. Maybe you should just keep looking. I'm sure you'll run into a better deal somewhere else.

i'd say don't do it.
based on the fact that its not driveable. there is no way for you to tell if anything else is wrong with it. it sounds like its pretty used up. for all you know the tranny could have bad syncros, or the turbo is fully shot, or it has a blown head gasket. no way to tell.
we all know about DSM's and their problems.... experience would tell me, to just forget it
for a car thats not runnable it's just not worth it. plus is only a GST. not

I here you guys.
Well this is what the seller emailed me about the car:
the car starts, the clutch barely engages. it went out on tuesday when I was at work. it was less than 1/2 a mile away from my place so i nursed the car back in 1st. also, the turbo has loose seals so its smoking out the exhaust. theres a wire that disconnected so the oil psi isnt reading, i can't reach in far enough to get to it so i just moved it aside for now. the minor cosmetics are little dents here and there on the body and the headliner is starting to sag. the worst of it is on the sunroof headlining because before i got the seal fixed it was leaking and caused the liner to peel. we can discuss prices outside of ebay email me.
I am thinking if for around $1K - $1.5K, it would be worth it. Any feedback would be great. THANKS!

I spent 1k on my GSX and $2,400 on just the motor itself.
It depends on how much you are looking to spend on the car. I say if you are going to get a project car get a GSX and build up the motor and everything. Even if you have to do it one part at a time.

Wait. That car has shit loads of miles and problems for 2k. If it were a GSX I would say go for it, but not a FWD.
