that was sweet. I actually sat through the whole thing lol. Whats with that brake technique when they turn corners? It seems like they're giving gas and braking at the same time...?

Heel to toe. They're braking, but they're also trying to keep the engine in higher rpms for the lower gear they just shifted into; so they can exit the corner more quickly.
