1998 Ranger front driveshaft

I just replaced my clutch. I had to remove the front driveshaft to get the trany down. I just can't seem to get the driveshaft back into the transfer case. It doesnt have the standard U joints. It has a CV joint going into the transfer case.

Is there some sort of trick to getting this mess back together?
