96 Neon Trouble Code 72

I am getting an error code 72 from my 96 neon 2.0 dohc. I was wondering if the fix on this page http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?t=104105&highlight=catalytic+converter+resistor will work if i did the resistor thing? I need a quick fix till i can get a cat. Thanks

It doens't trick the PCM into thinking it's a good functioning cat, rather that there is one there. I wouldn't waste the time, just get a replacement cat and you will be fine.

The cat is hollow. That is why i am getting that code. I do not have a lot of money till the 3rd of next month.Just looking to get it emm tested...
