97 Astro coils going bad often!

I have a 97 Astro that the ignition coils only seem to be lasting about 2-3 months. It starts off with random misfires now and then and then random missfires all the time untill I change the coil then it goes away for awhile. The scanner shows that # 3 cylinder usually has the most misfires but not all the time?

try Changing the ignition electronic module and /or clean the Pick-up coil's connector to such module, and the problem will disapear.

Bad grounds can cause odd faults too.
Make sure your grounds are ground, and that the engine is grounded.

Use a good quality parts for replacement coil.
And remember the plug wires and plugs and dist cap and rotor.
If spark can not go threw the wires good it will go someplace else.
