I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue and my Drivers side rear license plate light is burn't out and I can get my hand inside the hole underneath the trunck lid to take the light out...... does anyone have any suggestions? should I just have a mechanic do it when they give me my oil change next time?

)Open the rear compartment lid.
)Remove the screws retaining the rear compartment lid trim. (should be four screws the one with the Intrique badge)
)Remove the rear compartment lid trim.
)Reach through the access opening on the underside of the rear compartment lid and depress the license lamp retainers to release.
)Carefully push the license lamp out from the rear compartment lid.
)Disconnect the electrical connector from the license lamp.
)Release the license lamp lens retaining tabs, then carefully remove the lens from the license lamp base.
)Remove the bulb from the lamp base socket.
)To put back reverse order.
Hope that helps. Or if you know someone with smaller hands to do it for you. lol
