Wierd Light Question

Ok i have a question. Whenever someone like pulls on my door handle (When Its Locked) the inside dome lights come on. Now i have invested alot into my car audio and when those lights come on its like a welcome sign for car thieves. I was wondering if there was a way to shut that off.

Push the dome override switch in(on) and that does it - but you never have a dome light then. All controlled in the headlight switch.

yea thats what i tried but i need my lights when i open the door

Just do what I did, tint your windows until you can't see in or out of them. Trust me, you won't even realize there is a light on in the truck

well i have limo tint right now.

If you want to protect that audio investment, I'd recommend putting in an aftermarket alarm. That way you can leave the domelight active for yourself, but anyone else who lifts your door handle will trigger the alarm.
