Wether these be common or uncommon, good dealer-bad dealer, they shouldnt be happeneing on a 60k truck.
whats the quick fix for the oil burning every 1000 mile
or the reason for the replacement of a left axle?
or my electrical glitch?
there are tons of x5 owners that are inccurring problems
shoudlnt BMW look into the production of this vehicle or any of there other vehicles?

shoudlnt BMW look into the production of this vehicle or any of there other vehicles?Give me more details on the turn signal/hazard glitch. You didn't give any info. The oil warning problem(assuming it's not low) was a coding problem in the instrument cluster. The axles aren't usually a problem. Did it correct your complaint? I don't mind helping you guys, but more info would be helpful

Since Ive bought the truck, Ive had issue and i read tons of threads with
people complaining about the truck.
the electrical glitch, i turned on my right signal to pull into a parking spot
went to shut it off and it the turning lever was shut off except the blinker was still blinking
i hit the hazard button on , everything went on the hit off and everything still stayed on.
shut the truck off and the light were still on , alarm didnt go on.
theses thing s shouldnt be happening on a german engineered truck.
and my check oil only goes on after 20-30 of 60pmph or more driving
it drive me crazy,
just now the dealer tighten screws in my airbag and now the airbag light goes on.
the CPO fixes everything but when it expires what then.
this shit shouldnt even be happenening, no?
tell me what you think

If all of this is happening after 40,000 miles it sounds like you bought a used lemon. You may not be the 2nd owner, maybe you are the 3rd owner. Every type of car has lemons and when someone get one they usually trade it in to get rid of it. Also the 01 model is the 2nd year the X5 came out so not all of the glitches and gremlins are out of the system yet. But that is hit or miss too. My wife drives an 01 3.0 and she's had very few problems with it and the problems she did have were covered under warranty so far. We purchased the extended warranty just to be safe.
