Question about buying a 98 cobra

I haven't gone to take a look at this car yet or anything but the guy says
that it is a true stage2 roush cobra. He just had the car painted a year ago and did some stuff to it and he's willing to get rid of it at a good price but how can I tell if it is a roush cobra or if this guy just decaled it and is trying to pull a fast one. I was hoping to be able to determine this by VIN# or something but if nobody knows about that stuff then maybe just some info on what accessories or things I should look for to determine if this car is what he says. Thanks for any help.

as far as i know theres no such thing as a roush cobra, but i could be wrong. theres a roush mustang, and a mustang cobra. two different things, of course i suppose roush could have taken a cobra and modified it...

that was the point, cobra is SVT, its the mustang tuned by the Special Vehicle Team of Ford. Roushe is a custom tuner who tunes GT stangs.

Since the STG2 is basicly apperance and an exhaust he may have bought a cobra and had a stg2 kit added.

there is a roush cobra, just like there is a saleen cobra, i dont know why ppl think these things dont exist. they are just rare is all?
