99 galant engine swap

I have a 99 galant es and am looking to swap a better engine into it. Will a 4g63t engine fit in here? Will I need to get a new tranny maybe from like a 3g eclipse? I understand that any engine from evo4 up will swap into a 99 galant is that true? Also I really would like to make this galant a 5 speed, any suggestions? Please help? Thanks in advance.
