Any shots of the engine in progress? The Kyosho model has a NA engine in a Twin Turbo body so I was curious if you are going to make it right. The J-Spec front bumper is going to be difficult. I collect 1/18 die casts but mostly do my modeling in 1/24 scale plastic. I have been struggling about how to do the J-Spec front for a while now. Anyway, looking forward to following your progress. I'm working on a 1/24 replica of my '94 TT right now too.

Hi chenc544. All of the bodywork is done now as on the pics. I don't plan on doing any more body mods. I planned on doing the j-spec fascia, but decided to go my way, by pulling the lip a little to the front, and making bigger vents for IC's. The engine is a twin turbo, in fact it has turbos. No need to make them.

Next to come is an exhaust with dual double tipped stainless steel mufflers, and primer.

I'm working on the audio in the trunk, but I want too keep it a secret until I finish this project.

If you are planning to make a jspec front then i suggest get some automotive putty and start sculping. Tamiya 1/24 aren't that rare so if you screw up it wont be the end of the world. If you think it's impossible just look at my modified maisto honda s2k.

The whole front bumper is a putty sculpture. About 24h of playing with putty, files, sandpaper, and other dremel crap.

I guess it's similar to the Tamiya kit then. It has the turbos but just missing the IC pipings.

But if you are planning on doing a FMIC then you can just route it in a fashion that would work for you.

No fmic's for me. I'm going smic. And yeah it's missing ic pipes.
I plan on doing fuel filter, and otzer minor stuff in the bay.

I just wanted to say that I'm still working on this one, and scratch built 4 point's are gong lo lay on my seats.

Anyway It's still being built. I'll try to update a little in a few minutes.

So I worked out a led inatall. Hids, rears, lcd background, and audio illumination.

Painted the camcover blue metallic, made spark coils, ignition cables, building a AEM EMS, made a battery, also fuel rails, fuel filter. Took guitar strings for fuel cables and braided brake lines. I'm about to start making a brake system, with moving rotors, ant still calipers. BIG on the front. Making custom turbos, IC's, ic all the tubing. Still planing on making a brake master cylinder, and fuse box. It's going to be a cramped up engine bay as for a model.

Made a harness, painted titan metalizer, the interior is going to be creme and black, and flocked. Almose finished the a-spec seats (they have less grooves than j-spec)

DAMN i'm busy with this car, but it's going to be my baby. I plan to finish it before the new year. If I do so it will be a 9 month piece of modeling. Isn't it as long as preagnancy? :P

Also it's going to be a big task to lower it and still have fully functional steering. Maybe I'll make a openable fuel flap?
