Is it that the plastic is crazed or yellowed or bad?
Or is it the haze on the inside.
You can take off the headlights and use a swab on the end of a plastic rod to wipe the haze off the inside with ammonia or something mild.

I actually took the lens off the headlight assembly (carefully) so I could clean the inside good. Then I RTV'd the lens back on.

I wondered if it could be separated. The service manager told me it could not be separated. How did you do it. I might do mine again but do it right.
Using the swab it's hard to find something to hold the paper or cloth. I like the yard signs the lawn treatment people use. I just grab one out of a yard.

The service manager is probably right, they are not made to come apart. Of course doing this you risk breaking the lens and have to buy the whole thing. I started wedging screwdrivers/wood sticks etc in the gap between the base plastic and the lip of lens part (similar to opening a paint can). Working slowly along the edges, side edge first, I got it apart. I might have also used an Xacto knife to help break loose the sealant. I actually think they werent sealed very well in the first place, causing film on the inside.
