evo8 in america!!!

They are bringing the evo 8 to america for around 35k us dollers it still has the same engine i think cuz the dealer said that it has around 280 hp and torque if you guys have any more information than i do, even if it means that the dealer was lying, to me please reply.

the only thing mitsu has said is that the evo 7 is coming, its going to cost under 30k and its going to have more than 250 hp. Anything other than that, and its a dealer trying to BS you into buying a car, or its a rumor.

The Evo VII is rumored to come out in the US labeled as the Evo VIII and with 250-260 hp not 280. Keep in mind thats just rumors. Despite what Mitsu says i'd be surprised if they can keep in under $30k even for base price. Regardless it'll be an amazing machine.

You can get the JDM Evo VII in America already for ~$40k imported and legalized. I'm not sure whether its LHD or RHD, and I can't even remember the company's name that imports them but just grab any copy of Du Pont Registry and it'll be there.

Its LHD, but thats just because its the RS. Its basically a GSR with no options, smaller brakes, no OZ rims, and mechanical differentials instead of the electronically controlled ones.

at the mitsu meeting in las vegas the suits that were there said the car would be near 276 hp and starting at 26k... with one turbo upgrade that puts it over 400hp.... call it rumor or call it fact but I don't know why the mitsu suits would lie about there own car!!!
