As I am putting decals on my Tamiya Porsche 911 gt2 taisan, the clear part of the decals kind of screw up.
Heres the pic.

Is there anyway of fixing it?
I am planning to airbrush x-22 tamiya clear on, but I never tried before. Whats the mixing ratio for the x-22? Would it solve that problem?
Thanks

Looks like bubbles of air and water trapped under the decal. You need to work these out with a soft brush or similar while the decal is still wet. If it has dried you can make a small slit with a very sharp knife and let the air out that way. Then use decal softener to sit the decal down again.
Do not clear over the decals if they have air bubbles under them, as it will most likely cause problems later.

I would go in with a sharp knife and carefully surgically remove the clear from the offending black squares. Patience, and a little tape to remove what was been excised will help. Be very careful not to touch the color part of the decal with the tape.
Then a little decal solvent can be used to help soften and flatten out the bumps and bubbles.
Don't clear it until it is fully repaired, or it will be frozen in time that way... - Mark
