:grinno: Hi,
First time in the forum. Been watching you guys for quite some time and finaly decided to join in. It looks like you are a bunch of smart guys and you're know what you're talking about.
:grinyes: Got Q?
From time to time Low Oil light pops up on the dashboard. I've been checking oil on the daily basis and everything seems ok. What's wrong?
Please help

If you are positive that the oil level is correct (check 5 min after turning car off on level ground - wipe stick clean 1st), the sensor is probably loose. Check the wires to it and make sure they are connected tightly.

Thanx for a tip. I'll try it and let you know if it works.

You should watch this closely since the 3.5L engine reportedly does burn oil. Most people report a quart per 3000 miles. Make sure you check the oil on a level surface.

Definetly make sure you are getting a proper reading. I need to put a quart in my 01 3.5 every 4-5k miles, with changes at around 5.5k-6k, as the light demands. I use mobil 1, which reportedly burns a little as it is so thin it seeps through the piston rings.
