Hi, I've busted my keyless remote for my 2000 Dodge Caravan and purchased 2 spares. The problem is that I need the original remote to program the 2 spares. Is there anyway to program the spares without the original remote?

Yes,
Take it to your local Dodge dealer and they can use the DRB to program them.

Yes - you definately need the DRB scantool for programming without a current functional remote. Any local Chrysler dealership should have one, and some will program the remotes for free, since it is a very quick & simple process.

Before you go to the dealer try calling an Autozone or PepBoys. I know they have the scanners and will connect and give you error codes for free. Not sure if they will reprogram remotes. I'd hate to see anybody give a dealer money if they don't have to. Cheers!
