93 legacy, suspect fuel system problem

have a 93 legacy. about 1 week ago it began acting up. every once in a while it would hesitate when accelerating. at times not wanting to accelerate at all. then it'd be fine 20 seconds later.
just 2 days ago, it completly stalled out. i can start the car and even drive it a short distance. but within 20 seconds or so it starts to bog and eventually the engine shutters then stalls. the car will start, multiple times.

i changed the fuel filter(gas in it was pretty icky). i figured when i last filled the tank it may have knocked some rust into the tank, since i usually do not completly fill the tank.

so basicly im thinking it's either a: fuel injectors b:fuel pump or c: some fuel related sensor.

just wondering if anyone can shed some light on my problem...or have experianced similar symptoms on their legacy. or suggest some ways to check to get a better idea of what exactly is not working correctly.

thanks in advance guys...appreciate any help that anyone can offer.

Check the fuel pump, it sounds like it could be going bad.

Also check the fuel lines for debris build up, a blocked line could also starve your engine.
