Hey guys, I want your opnions.
I am planning to get a Lancer or Mirage to do a Evolution 6 or 7 conversion.

From my research these are the most realistic ones. It has the fenders to make it wider, and the right length bumpers.

^^love the TME^^

I am planning to try to add a subaru 4WD system.
Also I am planning to get re-do the whole Lancer engine. [Add new pistons, cams....blah]
Little touch-ups here and there.

If you can please tell me about the Erebuni kit. I have not found any reviews.

Is it easier to just import the Evolution 6 or 7? I don't like the smiley Evolution 8 look.
I heard it cost a lot, anddoesn't follow some of US regulations.
What are your thoughts?

the mitsubishi engine won't bolt to the subaru drivetrain

yes, there is no totally legal way to import an evo 6 or 7

same deal

in general, engines from one manufacturer won't bolt to another manufacturer's transmissions.

If you really want an evo and don't like how the evo 8 looks, I suggest just getting an Evo 8 and grafting the Evo 7 front end onto it (which should be fairly easy). The other things you're suggesting are incredibly difficult and expensive.

Oh because I found this totaled evo 8 that has most of the interior intact and rear body panels ok. The engine is gone and transmission is messed.
The whole front and part of the drivers side is gone.

So just buying an evo is cheaper.
Should I just get JDM bumpers, or should I get them from that body kit?
