Turbo Oil

Hi guys. Please help me out. There is a little bit of oil on the inside (intake) of the compressor housing. If you take your finger and you wipe it then you see it. Why the oil? There is absolute minimal play on the shaft. (Turbo is a Mitsubishi TC06)

Does the oil come from the crankcase ventilation or from the turbo?

The seal at the compressor wheel won't give an absolute seal (unless you have a carbon seal which you most likely do not have). Small leaks may be possible under certain conditions especially if oil return flow is bad or the crankcase pressure is high.

check on the compressor outlet for oil, not the inlet. if you're checking on the inlet, it's probably pcv. if it's on the outlet however, then i'm going to guess your turbo is dying. from the detail i can pick up here, i can't tell you much.
