Car Wont Start? EGR ?

alright 4 the past week or so my car was idling up and down constantly...and my engine light was on...after the car got to operating temp is ran fine...but initial start up, it ran rough...when i cleaned my egr valve solenoid it ran great..then after about another week it started doin it again.....so i took a used egr valve solenoid and connected that..car wouldnt start...so i put the old one back on....started the car...10 seconds later the car stalled ....hasnt started since.....i also noticed that when i turn the key to on or acc...that i dont hear the fuel pump turning on...which i kno in talons you should be able to....if anyone can help id really appreciate it....the car is a 95 esi

EGR wouldnt cause the car to not start. I have mine blocked off. I know at least in turbo dsms the fuel pump doesnt run untill the ecu gets a signal from the cam sensor. Does it turn over at all?

it cranks... n cranks n cranks....batteries good..(optimum) fully chanrged....starters good...car juss doesnt turn over....i took off my intake n sprayed some quick start while my buddy cranked it and it started for a second...so its almost like its not getting any fuel...i tested the fuel pump...spliced the wired and connected them staright to battery...fuel pump turns on..but doesnt turn on when i turn the key to on or acc posistion???????????doesnt makes sense

Have you pulled a plug to see if the injectors are spraying? Hoe about looking to see if you get spark?

get this.....my engine / motor fuse was blown thats y i was getting power 2 the fuel pump
everythings good now...ps. pr ricer...thanks for ur help....n the white talon looks sexc
