Crank, Crank, Crank - Won't Start!

96 Silverado, auto
Driving down the road, started sputtering, stalled and stopped. Will turn over all day long - WILL NOT CRANK. Replaced the fuel pump. Has pressure up front. Even poured a little gas into the throttle body. Will turn, won't crank!!!! Getting pissed ........ please help.

Might want to have it scanned.

You gotta have two things, fuel and fire. If you've got fuel, then you gotta look at the fire part of the equation. How about the crank sensor? Could be several things......I agree with getting it scanned.

Thanks -- got a friend of a friend coming over in the morning with a scanner to see if this 'ol girl will blow some codes.
