a few questions

1) i need someones expertice; i would like to know if when i start my 97 sohc neon in the morning does it's cracked intake manifold have anything to do with it stalling
2) where is the iat sensor located
3) any ideas of extremely cheap mods to give me just a little extra boost

2)where is the iat sensor locatedOn the 96-99 neons the IAT and MAP sensor are combined. It is on your intake manifold.
3) any ideas of extremely cheap mods to give me just a little extra boostCheapest way to get some HP for your SOHC is:
1)put on a 3.0L intake (around $50 total)
2)Install a stock DOHC muffler from a DOHC neon (flows better than the SOHC muffler...$25-$45 from a junkyard)
3)If you have a manual tranny, install a throttle body from an ATX neon. It's 52mm as opposed to 49mm. (about $45 from a junkyard)
