Has anyone swapped an engine?

My girlfriend hit something in the road which bent the oil filter. Oil pumped out onto the ground as she continued to drive until the engine died. I can't afford to have the engine swap done professionally so I have to do it myself. The car is a 2003 se wagon with a zetec. I would welcome any input from someone who has experience with this sort of thing. I have pulled an engine before, but never on something this new.--Ob

and 2000-2003 zetec from a focus(non-svt), will drop right in...Its the exact opposite of taking it out.
