95 Explorer Keyless Remote Not Working

My remote quit working and at the same time the doors stopped locking automatically after it was shifted into gear. I replaced the batteries and it still didn't work. I went on Ebay and purchased a NEW remote and when I did what the instuctions said to program the new remote it still isn't working. I can lock the doors manually from the inside and unlock with the key okay. Can anyone tell me if there is something else that works in conjuction with the programmer and the electrical system or sensors? I need help! I miss my remote door opener. momec

Sounds like you may have blown a fuse if the door locks arent working with the button inside the car.
