Timing On A 95 Geo Metro?

I'm having a problem with the timing on my 95 Geo Metro. To make a long story short, I messed up the timing trying to replace the seal behind the crank pulley. Now I can't get the timing right. I've tried to position the timing points in every possible way. I know that I have to align the mark on the bottom crank pulley to the mark on the engine. That part was easy but now I'm having difficulties with the top cam pulley. The top cam pulley has two marks, and one has a small dimple below it. I'm not sure which one to align to the notch located on the valve-cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You should look at some of the old threads about timing, that is how I found the solution to this problem. Once you have the right timing mark, it's actually quite easy to get the timing right. There are two marks on the timing gear (cam axle) One mark is 60a, and the other is 80c. My understanding is 60a is for the 4 cyl, and 80c is for the three cyl.

Also, you can check the position of the rotor under the distributor cap to make sure it's pointed at the #1 spark plug lead.

To expand on this, also make sure that the number 1 cylinder is at top dead centre when the rotor is alligned with the first spark plug wire.
I found that when moving the cam pulley into position, it was easier to turn at some points, and harder at others. When I got it into the right position, the cam wanted to pop either backwards or forwards. I know this isn't a very clear explanation, but I don't know how else to put it. I'll try another way. When I got the cam pulley alligned with the right mark, the cam wanted to turn, it was hard to keep it balanced at that point to get the belt on.
