Is it possible to fit a supra engine in a 1981 corolla sr5? if not which engine would be good for this car. Also does anyone know where/if I can get a limited slip kit for this car?

Supra engines are too long to be practical, but nothing is impossible. Look for a 4cyl to swap in. Check the Celica and MR2 forums.

Why don't you try a 4A-GE engine used by Corolla GT? This piece of DOHC engine is quite good in standard. There are many aftermarket performance part for it and you don't have to change the mountings. You could add turbo without having any problems, just replace its pistons with lower compression and you're ready to go.
But if you have more cash you could use 4A-GTE, standard turbo engine.
