1988 wont start please help

i have 1988 range rover classic country and it wont start the fuel pump keeps coming on then going right back off i think ecm is not getting a ref. signal from distribator i now it comes from the coil but witch wire i dont know i need a good schematic the ones i got suck to many black and white wires dont know wich one is ground please help

did you figure it out? I have exact same problem on 1990...
