Anyone ever put one of these together? I did a search for BMW and M3 and found nothing?

Kit goes together like butter. They even detach the side rub strips to facilitate painting; the front and rear are still tricky to mask, though. On mine, the package shelf was a bit warped, and didn't exactly fit against the seat; I just added a strip of styrene along the joint to help hide the gap, but I imagine once it was all put together, the body would squeeze it all against the chassis plate and it would fit right.

You can see it here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=430765)

cool thanks for the link. I wonder why when I ran a search it didn't find anything.

I can't wait to get one now.

"M3" is too short to be included in the search. And BMW doesn't show up in that thread anywhere, probably.

BMW didn't work either so I think that may have been to short too. I guess I should have looked up Bayerische Motoren Werke.

I'll be waiting for this one to be finished! Absolutely and utterly love BMW M-cars. Good luck!

I built the Revell version (same kit I believe) came out really nice, lacking in some detail and exhaust is awful but apart from tgat looks really nice - my finished thread is on here somehwere but don't know where.

Denver...?
I bought one of these long ago, but I don't think I've ever opened the box.

I was stumped for a proper yellow...Dakar Yellow IIRC. Does this kit have a proper US spec airbag steering wheel?
