I'm really tempted to get one (massive FC fan, and own one) but I haen't yet seen it built. If anyone could help me out that'd be great.

P.S. I have been searching, it's been a long time since I've been on due to school.

I've also been searching for this model, except in the convertable version. I dont suppose they make that model?

Aoshima did not release a convertible version.

I just purchased both versions of this kit. To me, the quality of the body is about the same as the Tamiya version. The body trim for both models are separate pieces. The hood is a separate piece, as with the growing trend of the latter Aoshima models. But, the engine bay is not open. The tail lights have separate orange, and red lenses. Also, there are extra parts for the kits (side skirts and spoiler). The chassis is the real let down. It is a modified FD chassis with FC exhaust, and there are no stock wheels. Other than that, they are great examples of the 1985, and 1989 FC's. Once I bought these, I am going to get rid of the Fujimi ones that I have!

thanks, yeah I'm dissapointed it's a curbside. I ordered the late 89' version. I'm not sure about it but I might put in a 13BT, or mabye custom make a 13BRE or 20B cosmo
