Some minor programming changes, check with a local salvage yard for used, self help required here. Cheap new not possible , check your dealer for a reman price, there are no new ones.

The GTP's have a heavier duty center differential to handle the additional torque of the supercharged engine. It is referred to as a 4T65E-HD, and has a 2.93:1 final drive ratio compared to the 3.29:1 final drive in a GT with the non-supercharged engine and 4T65E.

Also, Max I have performance shift on my year model GTP which firms up and increases the shift points. A GTP will run higher line pressure via the PCM.

The GTP trans also requires a different Axle shaft on one side due to the HD differential, compared to the GT trans, so unless you change that axle, it won't physically fit.
