Tie rods

Hi,
I ma new to this group, just came across while looking for some suggestions about my car problem. I am very naive in case of cars. I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus 6 Cylinder. I took it to the shop for a regular check up. Once done, they told me my front inner tie rods are gone, and i need to get those replaced, and i also need a wheel allignment. They gave me an estimate of 600 dollars. Can someone suggest me about this. I will really appreciate that. I am just at loss here. Thanks a lot.
