Well... maybe I will have to go with the supercharger. I know summit and jegs have LT4 conversion kits for $3,500ish, that might be one option.

not much compared to porting the heads and match porting the intake

The lt4 intake can only be used with the heads and the amount of money for the heads and intake was not really worth the performance gains you got, hense why the sales sucked and why it was discontinued. I heard about this a while ago though. The red powder coating looked cool but not a huge lose in my book.

Well, you could aswell powdercoat an LT1 intake... and it'll become a LT4 intake!!!!!!!!

You know how many people bought "LT4 " intakes off ebay only to get them out of the box and find out it was a powder coated LT1 :rofl: , Theres a sucker born every second. The flows numbers are impressive on LT4 heads and intake manifold stock but once you start porting all playing fields can become even.

I see them listed all the time as LT4's but they have a egr valve bolted to the back and I think we all know lt4's didn't use egr's. Or the lister says I believe it may be a lt4 but it could be a painted lt1. That means it a lt1 intake for sure and he wants to make as much money as possible and when you find out its not really a lt4. Oh well he said it may not be.
