Is this legal?

I want to move my front license plate in the dash because its damn ugly all rusted and I think it looks much better. I've seen many people do it in Ontario but I'm not sure. Do you have to have it fastened down so it doesnt move?

It should be bolted down. Imagine a saw blade coming at you at over 80mph. That license plate can become a spinning blade of death in an accident. Check your local laws for legality issues.
