JL VS. Audiobahn

okay i purchased 2 audiobahn Aw1200 n's and built a sealed enclosure for them i am looking 2 upgrade will 2 12" jlw3v2 be as loud in a ported enclosure i hear that they can handle well above the rated 300 rms rating the amp iam using is a hifoncis bx1205d

go for it. your SQ will definitely improve, as far as spl, though, im not sure how JL compares to them. Porting it will def raise the spl. i'm positive someone here'll tell u a better comparison. (i'm pretty sure they'll tell u to ditch teh audiopawnz as well)

Thats like comparing a monkey ass to its face which would you rather have to look at. A JL would stomp an audiobahn, but there is way better stuff over JL. Only back draw is you would have to redseing your box. But like manny said do it. And oh yeah sell the audiobombs.

so far i have been pleased wid the audiobahn performance they just arn as clear has i would like them 2 be they get pretty low but i would like them 2 go lower what about 2 Re Se 12's in a ported box or ne other suggestions im looking to spend no more than about 280 on subs shipped also these subs are going in a 1994 mustang gt i drag this car too so the box cant be to heavy or to hard to remvoe when i go to the track

SE 15 will get as low or lower than 2 w3v2 12" and get a tad louder as well. SQ wise is no competition as SE's are compareable to w6v2 SQ and w3v2's are entry level daily beaters.

you'll spend a lot less too.

without looking at it i'd reccomend around 3.5cuft and give it 30-40sqin of port area or two 3" aeroports.

will the se get louder than my 2 audiobahns on the same amp

90% sure it would walk on it assuming a good install.
