I Have A Gm 350 And I Wanna Upgrade My Cam. What Is Everything I Need To Do The Instal?

how big is the cam, and how much can your springs handel? you will probly need new valve springs, and obvisly the cam and oil, and the tools to do it. I would replace the timing chain while you have it off. And you will need a water pump gasket. That is all i can think of right now.

but the owners manual also says i have 305 ft/lb torque in my 3.8 lol

so im pretty sure its a flat tappet cam what size are you getting?... get a cam and lifter set.. that and gaskets will be all you will need.. and a new timing chain set wouldnt hurt as well

My 305 has about 305 ft/lb torque... at crank... maybe...
