I am just wondering since every other state has a model show/contest, if there is any upcoming in Las Vegas? Thanks

Sounds about time we need a stickee for worldwide model shows.

I think the back of the model mags still have calendars for show dates.

Thats a good idea, why doesn't someone make a sticky for that?

I don't like stickies; looks too cluttered.
Anyway, you can try IPMS and Scale Auto magazine sites for contest info.

Hey toyota00, check out Hobbytown USA (http://www.hobbytown.com/content/show/3588) here in town. So far as I know (through the last 5-6 years) that's been the only thing anywhere near our area, and they have a whole entire whopping 2 locations. Poorly placed, I might add. Sometimes, they'll advertise (in-store only) a local competition sponsored by the store owners, and it usually doesn't go outside of the state. This is the next one, though. Hope that helps some, so you don't have to drive to cali for a decent show.

The Las Vegas IMPS chapter (see meeting and contact info HERE (http://www.ipmsusa.org/Groups_Contests/region_select.asp?RGN=8)) puts on an annual event called "The Best in the West" Which is either in March or May. All I remember is that it's one month off from Tamiya/Con, which is always in April.
